![]() For those of you who follow me on social media you’ll have heard me talk about Charlotte Tilbury. Charlotte is a world renowned Makeup Artist who has worked on the likes of Kate Moss, Kim Kardasian, Jennifer Lopez, and done countless Vogue covers. I was over the moon when I heard she was launching her own line of luxury products, and I wasn't disappointed! I use her products personally and have a lot in my kit too, so I thought I would review a few of them, the first is her famous Magic Cream. Named so by the 90’s Supermodels that loved the secret mix Charlotte would make backstage, they called it this as it would rejuvenate their tired jet lagged skin ready for the catwalk. Contained in large heavy weight vintage style glass pot with a rose gold lid, it looks stunning on your dresser and gives an old Hollywood feeling to it. The cream itself is thick and luxurious; it contains SPF 15 and some beautiful ingredients which such as hyaluronic acid, damask rose water, rosehip oil which makes it a treat for your skin. I use this cream every morning at the moment, it’s a lovely pick me up for my dry January skin. As soon as it’s on the skin it feels comforting and plumping, giving the appearance that you are super rested, even if you aren't! It gives you a beautiful glow and a great base to apply your foundation.
I would say that this product is best for people with dry, dehydrated or ageing skin. For me it’s great throughout the Winter when my skin is on the dryer side and the central heating and weather takes its toll. It can work well for normal skin depending on how dewy you like to look, but I think it would be too heavy for oily or combination skinned ladies. The Charlotte Tilbury line is a luxury brand and the Magic Cream is certainly a luxury moisturiser if you are on the dryer side I would recommend this if you want to treat yourself! Magic Cream comes in at £70. Have you tried the Magic Cream, what do you think? http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/charlottes-magic-cream.html |
