In July I had the pleasure of getting Helen and her bridesmaids ready for her wedding at Middleton Lodge. Helen wanted her wedding makeup to be natural looking but still flawless. I created this look using Illamasqua Skin Base foundation, a favourite of mine and a staple in my kit. This gave a natural but perfected finish to the skin, I also subtly contoured Helen's cheekbones and temples to give a polished result. Helen wanted to use her favourite Chanel lipstick in the shade Roussy, which completed her look, I think she looked like the perfect summer bride!
The bridesmaids each wore silver sequinned numbers, and to match their glamorous look, each wore a silver smokey eye to compliment their outfit.
I love them all! The hardest part is deciding which to purchase next! The Audacious Lipsticks come in at £24

In April I was asked to be involved in a shoot to showcase fashion student, Rosie Moore's Menswear Collection for her final assessment at University. Her inspiration for the collection was based on Glam Rock. Rosie incorporated feminine cuts and shapes to create a new style for the modern man.
The makeup needed was minimal just to ensure the model Anthony's skin looked fresh and clear. Towards the end of the shoot we injected some more Glam Rock into the makeup with some added glitter! It was a fun team effort and we were all happy with how the images turned out, thanks to the talented Chris Randle! I am very much looking forward to hearing how Rosie does with her final assessment and wish her all the best of luck and cant wait to see where her future career takes her!

Set in the middle of the stunning North York Moors. Danby Castle is in a great location and has the perfect backdrop for a beautiful country, vintage or quirky wedding. It was a stunning day and many lovely bride and grooms to be turned out for the fair. I had opportunity to talk about with lots of brides about their bridal makeup and answer their questions about my services. I also displayed some of my kit so that everyone could have a peek into my favourite products and brands. This brought about much conversation about everyone's favourite products, which was great! I had my lovely friend Jenny come along and kindly model for me. I demonstrated a classic bridal look on Jenny and she looked beautiful! It was a fantastic day, and the brides and groom were spoilt for choice with the amount of fab suppliers who attended. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to hearing from the lovely brides I met! ![]() Leonne & Scott got married at their fairytale wedding at Wynyard Hall on 1st September. As Leonne is a professional dancer and is used to wearing makeup. She had a good idea of what she wanted, this was to look natural but with a smokey eye. I must say it looked absolutely stunning on her. To create Leonne's look I started with a mattifying primer to give her an even base and to help keep any oily breakouts at bay. I used Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation to perfect her skin, concealed any blemishes and powdered her skin for a flawless finish. I used eyeshadows by Mac and Illamasqua's Precision Eyeliner Gel to create her smokey eyes, with lots of individual lashes. One of my favourite products to use on my brides is Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstar Bronze and Glow. It really does what it says on the tin and gave Leonne a lovely glow, and enhanced her gorgeous cheekbones! To finish, Leonne choose a lipstick by Bobbi Brown in the colour, Uber Pink, which suited her colouring perfectly. I also made up all of the lovely bridesmaids on the day. The bridesmaids all went for a similar look to Leonne, but with a more toned down eye and they all look amazing too. Leonne had videographer, Richard Leng from RL Video's Co to capture her wedding day. Click on the link below to see the fantastic short film of Leonne and Scott's day, its truly stunning and Richard is fantastic at what he does.
